The Ivar Thermostatic Mixer is a component capable of keeping the set value of the water supply temperature constant, by means of a thermostatic element, in the face of variations in pressure and/or temperature at the inlets. Its use assumes primary importance in domestic hot water distribution systems, in which it is necessary to prevent water at too high a temperature from reaching the terminals of the system.
It guarantees maximum comfort thanks to an always constant temperature; in the absence of cold water, the device closes automatically, avoiding burns for the user. It is a recommended product in the presence of DHW accumulations where the accumulated water can undergo thermal shocks due to the anti-legionella cycle.
The Ivar Thermostatic Mixer is an adjustable sanitary mixer; the temperature can be adjusted using a special knob from 36 to 50°C; The body is in CW617N brass, nickel-plated only externally; the spring in stainless steel, the obturator in polyetherimide plus silicone and the cap/adjustment knob are made in ABS.
